The Mercado Basket by Palorosa is a top-handle tote bag that can also serve as a shoulder bag. Consistent with Palorosa's artisan production, this bag is entirely handwoven in Guatemala using recycled plastic; this material makes the product light, minimalist and extremely durable.
An exclusive design, the Mercado features a geometric weave and a multi-striped pattern. The exceptional hand-weaving ability of Palorosa's master weavers – a result of ancestral techniques handed down over time – and their attention to details emerge in the new weave, characterised by a double pattern that makes the bag even more resistant. The flat cream-coloured base has wider and regular weaving.
Due to the nature of materials and handmade process, slight irregularities may occur. These make each Palorosa product unique and special.
