These lightweight socks by Yahae are knitted from their original yarn made with washi fibre “OJO+” twisted with organic cotton. The resulting quality of both materials is their cool and gentle touch.
*About OJO+
OJO+ is paper yarn made by Oji Fiber Co., Ltd. using Manila hemp as its base fibre. They introduced a naturally biodegradable manufacturing technique which requires radically different processes from that of conventional spinning and makes the mass-production of environmentally friendly fibres in Japan possible. It has all qualities necessary for socks; moisture absorbency, quick-dry, heat retaining and deodorising.
